This is the first birth record for 1773. Johannes was born and baptized (renatus) on the same day, Jan 1. In the second column it is also noted that Johannes died 18 Jun, 1833. His parents were: Johannes Ecker, müller ?allhier; and Maria Barbara geb Müller(in). In the fourth column, the sponsors are listed. I recognize some of the family names but will not analyze them now. It is of note that Johannes' mother is named Maria Barbara. From other records I had Anna Barbara. Both given names had the same family name: Müller. The switching of Maria and Anna may be an error, but the possibility is always there that one of them died and Johannes the elder married twice: to either a sister or someone with the same last name. Records are abundant so it should be possible to sort this out later on. |
