75835 6/24/31 William C. Ecker Lot 160 L IC: William C. Although there is some confusion in the notes of Woodland Cemetery, he married Fannie Hawthorn (RN# 85154) and had four children: Daniel, Sarah, Agusta, and Caroline. He died 20 June 1931 in Newark. I have not seen a death certificate nor do I know who Etta Coll might be.

He was said to be married (not a widower) to Mary Voorhees. This may have been a later life marriage. It appears he had two daughters, Mary E., 1889, and Isabella, b1891 to a wife who apparently died before 1900. It appears that some of his information has been confused with that of his brother William in the Woodland Cemetery database. At the time of death he was living at 20 Warren Place, Newark and the informant was Etta Coll of Irvington.

108600   Marie Ecker Lot 160 L Orig. Deed Holder, contacts on p/c: Dan H. Ecker, grandson of orig. owner; FOOTSTONE: ECKER; The only Daniel Ecker known to me is the oldest son of William and Fannie Ecker. He is the grandson of Anna Maria (Yetter) Ecker and of Jakob Ecker. Jacob died young so it is quite possible that Anna Marie would have purchased the plot.
71994 11/7/23 Julia M. (Zinkon) Ecker Lot 342 N IC: Julia M. Ecker, 65y, 176 Highland Ave., 7ft, Lot 160L, 3R; DC: Julia M. Her father was Charles Zinkon of Germany and her mother Regina. The informant to her death certificate was daughter Mabel E. Gracie, but care must be taken because Mabel also had a daughter named Mabel. Mabel the elder has living family. Note that the family of Charles Frederick and Julia M. are located in Lot N.
76585 3/11/33 Charles Frederick Ecker Lot 342 N IC: Charles Frederick Ecker, 78y, 176 Highland Ave., 7ft, Lot 342N, 2R; DC: Charles Frederick Ecker, b. 11/20/1854 at Newark, d. 3/9/1933 at Newark City Hosp, Newarl, 78y3m19d, widowed, res. 176 Highland Ave, Newark, s/o Jacob & Mary Ecker, both b. in Germany, h/o Julia M. 91014 10/29/60 Mabel E. Norman Lot 342 N   I cannot be 100% certain yet who Mabel E. Norman is. My working assumption is that She is Mabel E. Ecker Gracie Norman. She was the child of Charles Frederick and Julia M. (Zinkon) Ecker. Born about 1891. Her first husband, Wallace F. Gracie died young. She would have had time to marry but she was still single and living with her daughter Mabel in 1930.
109513   Mabel Ecker Lot 342 N Orig. Deed Owner; contacts on pc: Mrs. Kenneth Briden - "Mabel Ecker Gracie" listed on top of plot card; It is likely this deed holder was Mabel E. Ecker who would have been about 32 yo when her mother Julia M. died in 1923.
