Family Register # 114 Old Series (1619-1807), Unterreichenbach
This is the family register of the Paternal Great Grandparents of our American William Ecker. [Refer to Folio 43 for more detailed description of the structure of the Family Register pages.] The father of the family is Johannes Ecker (a dash over a consonent means a double.) He is Born 7 Jun 1749 and dies 6 Oct 1808. Like his son Johannes, he is a maltmiller in Unterreichenbach by occupation. He was married in 8 Oct 1771 to Anna Barbara who was born on 18 Jun 1739 and died 20 May 1829. I can't make out the writing associated with Anna's birth, but Calmbach is a small village 10 km to the west.
The father of Johannes is Jakob Ecker, Burger and maltmiller here. and son of Maria Katharina Kohler of ?Malunshein (The family of this couple are detailed in folio 42.) The parents of Anna Barbara are Heinrich Müller, a Maltmüller of Calmbach, and Agnes Maria ?Schmid.
Child No. 1, Johannes, is the Grandfather of Abraham Wilhelm and the 'Housefather' of Folio 170. The dates of birth marriage and death agree completely and indeed we are referred to that Folio by the Pfarrer.
The names of the other children are: 2. Marg[aretha] Barbara; 3. Katharina; and 4. Jakob Heinrich.
