As indicated on the index page to this section, the attached Family Register from the family bible of Andrew Jackson Hazelbaker and Flora Baker was given to me in August 2009 by a kind distant cousin. She gave me permission to present it on the website. I am embarrassed that I cannot remember her name, nor can I remember where I might have written it down. (That happens to me a lot nowadays.) I think I will be able to figure it out, but in the meantime you can view the pdf file (1.5 MB) here.
Andrew J. was the son of William Riley Hazelbaker. By wonderful coincidence last October, and without reference to the name in the bible, I was able to copy the Civil War Pension records of William Riley. Even a quick glance tells me that there is much information in these records that is not yet captured in the database of this site. I am not going to do the analysis, but I hope one of you will take it on and help me update the database. (Contact me first so we can coordinate the best way to add the information.)
