This is another early marriage record of a Baierl from Affing. I do not know if Alois is connected to the family but a number of interesting points can be made.
The gist of the record (subject to my problems with Latin) is that in Affing on 29 June 1801, the legitimate , Aloisius, son of (Ottomari) Baierl of Gundelsdorf and his wife Maria; was married to Maria Anna Josephi Eisenhofer, daughter of Aunhofen? and his wife Magdalena. Witnesses were Rupertus Heis*erer and J** Hirmaj.
This is not the first we have heard of Baierls or Bayerls from Gundelsdorf. They are probably the same but that is subject to documentation. I am waiting for records from Gundelsdorf.
Note that the month of June (Juni in German) is spelled with a terminal 'y' that might mean 'i.' Or is Juny the Latin word for June? Note the word in the fourth line that looks like "gjunch" or zjunch. Is that an 'i' or a 'j?' I lack the knowledge to tackle these spellings now. More and more I am suspecting that writing these names in and out of Latin to German altered the spelling historically.
Is Alois related to Maria Anna Baierl?
Addendum: Initial review of records from Gundelsdorf does permit at least some links between the Baÿerls there and those from Affing. However, the first Baÿerl of my family line did not come from Gundelsdorf, but rather from Edenreid!
